Troubleshooting - Split Button Is Inactive

If you are in the tender screen and the split button is inactive/grayed out, it is because you have already entered in a partial tender amount. If you do not use the split ticket button then the system will assume that you are only splitting the ticket 2 ways when you process a partial payment and the split button will become inactive.



Normally if you want to use the split pay functionality you would click on the "Split" button first,



Enter in the amount of ways you wish to split the ticket.



The tender screen will update with how many ways you are splitting the ticket; asking you to enter in the first tender and tender type.



Once you enter in the first payment it will update to the 2nd payment.



Enter the remaining amount and the ticket will be settled.
