How Do I Edit A Deposit?

You processed your "End of Day", batched out your credit cards, and completed a deposit.  Now, you realize you made a mistake and entered the wrong information or the wrong date.  Or perhaps someone entered a ticket after you thought you were ready to close, or you realized a register still needed to be reconciled.  When this happens, you can edit the deposit.

To edit a deposit, navigate to Manager Home > Cash > Deposit.



Click on the "Edit Prior" button.



Find the deposit you wish to edit > Click on the deposit to highlight > Click OK.



The screen will update with the deposit's information. You will be able to edit the time and date of the deposit, the cash, credit card amounts and other information on the deposit. However the "Suggested Deposit" section on the left will show all zeros.



Once you have entered in the new totals; click the Save button. You will be asked to confirm if you want to post this deposit. Click OK and your changes will be saved. You can navigate to the Store Summary report to view that your numbers are correct for the day.

Tip:  The bank deposit report will show details about deposit edits, including who edited, when, and what the original amounts were.
